We can't get enough of this weather!! I wish I could just pick up my whole life and move it to Arizona or So Cal or something..we could get used to this year round. When I was a kid I remember thinking that half of the year was winter and the other half was summer...but the truth is that 3/4 of the year is colder than desirable and 1/4 is wonderful!! Oh well, what can you do? Keep dreaming, I guess..
So we are totally enjoying summer so far! We're in the last week of our swimming class and Madi is still loving it! We are looking forward to moving ourselves up to my parents pool a few days a week instead of the crowded rec center. Madi went to her first bday party last weekend! Jorey and Steph's little girl, Channing, turned one. She's such a cutie. I can't believe that will be us in just a few months. We also went to a new African restaurant in Salt Lake. Kent and I have decided we've been in quite a rut as far as eating out. So we are going to branch out and try new places. I was thinking I could do a little review on the blog for anyone that's interested. :) I'm pretty sure this restaurant is really called "African Restaurant". It's on redwood road in Salt Lake. It features east african food and I was pleased to find that It was exactly what I had eaten in Ethiopia. I did enjoy this much better though! I think mostly due to the fact that I had some unpleasant side effects to the food there, if you know what I mean.
