Be it Thanksgiving and all, I've decided to dedicate the rest of the month to people and things that I am thankful for. Life has a way of getting us all down so I thought this could be a way to help me stay positive and maybe cheer some of my loved ones up!
I can't think of a better way to start my 'gratitude blog' than spotlight this special person in my life:

Who would've thought that a beautiful blue eyed boy would have taken a chance on this clumsy, awkward girl. For me, the love story begins in seminary senior year. I would turn around in my seat to attempt a conversation with this boy but always lose my train of thought when those eyes locked with mine. And so the story began..motorcycle rides, sluffing seminary, senior prom, 'Kent's spot', long distances, the amazing mission, nursing school, somehow convincing him that I was a good catch-probably way before he was ready-but isn't hindsight great? 5 yrs of marriage, 2 dogs and a baby later he is still the love of my life and I am so grateful he is mine forever.
