I am so thankful for this little girl:
She lights up my life and makes me laugh everyday! I can't imagine life without her! Here are just a few of my favorite things she is doing right now:
*She LOVES the dogs! I think they account for probably 95% of her happiness. As soon as she spots one of them, she crawls or walks over to them as fast as she can saying "hi, hi, hi, hi..." over and over.
*walking everywhere!! I can't believe how fast a toddler can move. It's still kind of weird to me to see her walking like a person.
*While we're in the car she blows kisses to me or makes kissing noises in the rear view mirror.
*She LOVES her kid music. We can't ride in the car without listening to it and the time between tracks is a bit too long for her.
*Although it can be frustrating at times, I love her feisty nature. I hope it sticks with her because I think she will need it someday.
*Madi loves my bracelets. Everytime we're in my room we have to pull them out so she can try them on.

Isn't it amazing how someone so small, that you didn't even know a year ago, can become such a huge part of your life. Thanks Shan & Kent, for blessing us with such a beautiful little spirit. I for one treasure every minute I get to spend with her.

She is so cute and very lucky to have you as her mom! Even when we were like ten you were always taking care of everyone!
oh my gosh! i love her face. she looks absolutely beautiful!! i can't wait till i get to be with her all the time! it's not fair living so far away from such a perfect little girl. i think we'll get along great if she is as feisty as you say! you'd think she was mine. well i guess she will be next summer. ha ha. can't wait!! xoxo
It's Sunday morning and I am missing this little girl knowing I won't see her today. She brightens my life, too. I love being her grandma!!!

Shanlee-Madilynn is SO cute! I didn't know that she was walking!! That is so fun! We need to get our Madi's together to play.
