Today was such a fabulous day. It was probably the best I've felt in a long time..and it's not even that something fantastic happened, it just felt so good. I'm not sure if it was the refreshed feeling from just coming off vacation or if it has something to do with my resolution to be more diligent with scriptures and prayers that I have wrongfully neglected. Its corny, but I do feel a little inspired by the olympics. I love hearing the athlete's stories. It's just one of those days where everything felt in sync. Kent was off today so we were able to catch up on stuff around the house together before he goes back to work tomorrow. For the first time in a long time I didn't feel the need to rush my work visits. I don't think I realized how bad I needed a break. Working 2 1/2 hours a day doesn't seem like much at all, especially compared to what I used to do. But I guess when it's every single day-no break, it takes its toll. Madi took the best nap she's had in a week, which made for a really fun night together. She's crawling around everywhere and loves to get into the cupboards. She looks back at us after she opens the door daring us to react. Its hilarious.

Bijou found a little treasure today too..the biggest frog I've ever seen! Don't ask me how it got in our backyard, but the dogs scared it to death. Bijou chased it around the backyard until it jumped into the window well.

It blew itself up really big to intimidate Oscar..I think it might've worked. Oscar seemed a little nervous. I've never seen him drool so much though. We had no clue what to do with it. Animal Control? Kent shot that one down quick. We put it in the neighbors yard (who are dogless) so it would have a chance at survival.
Ahhh..I'm feeling so blessed tonight...my heart is happy.
